THE aurora borealis BEAMS
The Concept
The mesmerizing display of purple and green aurora borealis in North America, served as a profound source of inspiration to our design team. These vibrant auroras, dancing across the night sky in ethereal waves, embodies natural palette of colors and fluidity that can be translated into various design expressions.
This product is a correlation between the Aurora Borealis and our Acoustic Beams, with spot lights in specific edges, for a glamorous and dramatic effect.
The interplay of luminous purples and greens could be translated using our Luxe Series, colors like “Amethyst”, “Mauve”, “Lilac” and “Grape” were used for the Purple gradient; “Indigo” and “Sapphire” for the blue shades; “Sage” and “Olive” for the green gradient.
The natural beauty and mystique of the aurora borealis encouraged our designers to explore new creative horizons, infusing acoustic products ideas with the same sense of peace and fluidity that the auroras arouse.

Dune-Inspired Design: Harnessing the beauty of Ephemeral Landscapes
The majestic sand dunes, sculpted by wind and erosion, offer a boundless source of inspiration. The fluid and dynamic curves of dunes create undulating patterns enriching the design with organic elegance and cultural significance. These natural wonders evoke soft, sinuous lines and shapes, harmonious asymmetrical compositions and textures reminiscent of sand, stone and vegetation. In interior design, dune-inspired elements can add warmth and coziness with earthy tones, it also creates a dynamic visual interest with undulating patterns.
Culturally, sand dunes symbolize resilience and adaptability, connection to natural landscapes and timeless beauty and serenity. Incorporating dune-inspired elements in an interior space, evokes the majesty of natural landscapes, foster well-being and tranquility, and celebrates the beauty of organic forms.
This design aesthetic encourages a harmonious blend of natural beauty, cultural significance and sustainable practices, resulting in spaces that are both visually stunning and thoughtfully crafted.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
The process of developing a custom acoustic product begins with a comprehensive client briefing, where the unique requirements and objectives of the project are thoroughly discussed. This is followed by an ideation session, where creative concepts and innovative ideas are brainstormed. From these ideas, first sketches are developed, providing a visual representation of the proposed solutions. Once these initial designs are reviewed and refined, they are presented for concept approval, ensuring that the client’s vision and expectations are fully met. Upon receiving approval, the production phase commences, utilizing advanced materials and cutting-edge technologies to fabricate the custom acoustic treatments. Finally, the completed products are meticulously delivered and installed, transforming the space into an auditory masterpiece that perfectly aligns with the client’s goals. Installation can be done by a contractor recommended by Hush Acoustics or another company preferred by the customer.
Custom products PORTFOLIO
Vertical Beams
The 300 Main building had two by six steel beams floor to ceiling vertical partitions that didn’t match the environment layout the architects had envisioned, it had been previously painted, but something else could be done to cover it.
Our team have developed custom Vertical Beams to cover them, taking exact measurements and covering the entire column in acoustics.
3-Ply Longhouse
The Longhouse project was created as part of an entire floor at downtown Toronto Tellus building, dedicated to the first indigenous culture and history space in the company.
Each of the linear fins as well as the ceiling fins have a unique aspect: made up of a 3-ply acoustic, meaning you’ve got two outside layers in our Mocha Element color and then one inside layer is our Lilac as a sandwich together.
