The main purpose of all our products is to reduce the noise congestion caused by sound reverberation/echo in your space. The fibers of the Hush product absorb and dissipate the ‘sound-energy’ creating a calm environment with clear and controlled sound. However, to prevent sound transferring from one room to another, it requires a different approach and a different type of product, such as using sound insulation within the walls, ensuring a complete seal around doors, and also a sound insulation or barrier above the ceiling.

All Hush Acoustics’ products have a 2-year limited warranty, counted after the product is delivered.
Yes! We offer a custom color configuration service that ensures that your acoustic product will be as similar as possible to the color of other materials (fabric, wall paint, etc.). You can find more information on our Color Match page or contact us directly.

Yes, most designs are compatible and can be submitted in .dwg or vector format. Certain designs may be subject to etching limitations due to scale, tight edge spacing, or very fine details. Share your design with us, and our project manager will review it and work with you to achieve the best possible outcome.
Yes. In addition to our standard finishes, the metal components can be painted in a wide range of tones. Please consult your sales representative to discuss your desired color and available options.
Yes. We can imitate a wide range of textures onto our standard felt, including fabric, wood, and stone effects, as well as fully custom designs. Please get in touch with our sales team and explore the possibilities.

Our standard production takes around 4-5 weeks, but we are also happy to accommodate rush requests as needed.

Our products are made of recycled P.E.T. We also use water-based inks as an eco-friendly surface application method to minimize the use of harmful chemicals and to maintain our GreenGuard® GOLD status.
Every project is reviewed to ensure that the most efficient use of material is being utilized. The P.E.T. off-cuts are re-purposed as much as possible, including being used for packaging purposes.

Using ‘felt’ made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (P.E.T.) has a very positive environmental impact. Recycled P.E.T. felt reduces the need for virgin materials and helps divert plastic waste from landfills. This material contributes to resource conservation and minimizes the environmental footprint associated with traditional manufacturing processes. Additionally, using recycled materials often requires less energy, lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Overall, opting for felt from recycled P.E.T. supports sustainability efforts and promotes an eco-friendlier approach to material usage.
Yes! The material produces no harmful emissions, and it boasts a Class-A Fire rating, indicating its resistance to ignition. You can find the flame spread tests in our Flame Spread document.
Yes! Our material is water safe, the plastic fibers do not absorb water, and the fibrous nature of the panel means that it dries very quickly. Did you know that you can submerge our P.E.T. material under water without causing any negative effects to the material? These properties contribute towards the anti-fungal certification that our products have been awarded.
Our felt is made of a mix of new and recycled P.E.T., with a minimum mix of 60% recycled content. New fibers are added for stability, along with the fire-retardant fibers.
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), commonly known as P.E.T., typically does not emit any off-gassing, making it a low-emission material. Please refer to our GreenGuard® GOLD certification documents under Resources page.
